ASK US about our winter rates! At Russell Falls Holiday Cottages we have 4 fully self contained Cottages, there are 3 one bedroom Cottages and a 2 Bedroom Cottage. Right at the entrance to Mt Field on the Tyenna River. Believe me one night stays are not enough as so much to see and do in this area you will wish you stayed longer. Junee caves Marriot falls Maydena bike park Styx valley Russell Falls Lady Barron falls Horseshoe falls Lake Dobson The salmon ponds And that's just a few!!! The space Cottage 3 has two bedrooms. One room has a Queen bed and the second room has a double base bunk bed as well as a single bed and spare floor mattress for extra guests. Sleeps 7 people. All cottages have a self contained kitchen, dining, lounge, laundry, bathroom and outside decking. Walking distance to Russell falls which has been voted the best waterfall in Tasmania! Other things to note The closest supermarket to the cottages is at New Norfolk, 35 minutes away, so it is recommended to bring your food with you as there isn't much choice for meals locally. We can provide you with a BBQ upon request but if you are purchasing a park pass you are able to use the great BBQ facilities at Mt Field National Park which is a two minute walk from our cottages. Also within walking distance is the National Park Hotel and they serve great meals but it's best to call to confirm the restaurant is open beforehand as hours change over winter.
