Our home is within easy walking distance of Albany's main street, offering a private upstairs space with a spacious bedroom featuring a king bed. The area includes a private bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchenette, and a living room with a smart TV. Access is through the downstairs laundry, and off-road parking is available in the carport. We live downstairs and are happy to assist in making your stay in Albany as enjoyable as possible. The space Our home, originally built around 1890 with just three rooms, has recently had its front section restored to resemble the original cottage. Located opposite Foundation Park, where the British flag was first raised in Western Australia, it combines history with modern comfort. In 2016, we added a new extension at the back to make it more functional. The upstairs area features three bedrooms (one available for Airbnb guests), a lounge, and a kitchenette. The guest bedroom offers hanging and drawer space and a king bed. It’s a bright, airy room with windows overlooking Princess Royal Harbour. The bedroom and bathroom both have underfloor heating. The bathroom includes a large bath with a shower overhead and is equally light and spacious. The lounge has a smart TV, lounge chairs, and a small dining table. A Dimplex heater provides extra warmth if needed, and the south-facing windows offer stunning views of Princess Royal Harbour. The kitchenette is perfect for simple meal prep, equipped with a sink, microwave, small fridge, toaster, electric kettle, and a induction hotplate. Crockery, cutlery, tea, instant coffee, milk, oil, salt, and pepper are provided, along with a coffee plunger (though coffee is not supplied). Guest access Parking is available in the carport at the rear of the property at the top of the driveway. Albany does not have a lot of public transport but there are taxis.
