Description
Our cabin is located in a seaside village surrounded by national park. Its a stone's throw to the beach and the lake, and makes for a wonderful getaway for people who enjoy swimming, bushwalking, fishing, and mountain biking. It’s also ideally set up for those who enjoy whiling away the hours with a good book while quietly watching the local wildlife come and go. Don’t forget to ask about a late Sunday check-out. We’re happy to accommodate when possible. The space This newly appointed, one bedroom cabin is understated and with all the mod-cons you might need, including air-conditioning/heating, dishwasher and Wi-Fi. A clothesline and iron/ironing board and hair dryer are also available. The cabin opens on to two large decks designed with outdoor living in mind. From the front balcony you have views of a bush block and filtered views of iconic North Durras Beach. The middle deck overlooks a fernery and faces Murramarang National Park. It is a leisurely 400 metre walk to beautiful North Durras beach via Scott Street; or 700 metres if you walk back up Durras Road (northward) to the carpark. From the car park there are steps down on to the beach. While there is a small coffee shop that does great coffee and bacon and egg rolls, it is only open seasonally. We recommend you bring all your supplies with you as Batemans Bay is a 30 min drive away. While there is a second cabin on the property (adjoining the middle deck), it will not be occupied during your visit. However, on occasions, the shed at the back of the block may be owner-occupied (it has its own driveway, water and electricity). Please be re-assured your privacy in the main cabin will not be affected in anyway – unless of course you’d like to come over, say hi and find out a bit more about the area.
