Beaches, restaurants, and shops are just 100-300 meters away. It is easy to get to Koh Mak via private minibus or limo service. You can also travel by public bus or fly with Bangkok Air to Trat. We can help you with the transportation. Koh Mak is a very remote and peaceful island. No ATM and no 7/11 here. Far away from mass tourism and bars. It is the right place if you want to just relax and have peace. The house will be cleaned by our staff every week. We can provide bedding and bath towels, but we ask that guests bring their beach towels. FAQ's: Bank/Money: There are no banks and no ATM's on Koh Mak. Checks are not accepted. It is almost impossible to exchange currencies. Please bring Thai Baht with you. Activities: Activities include scuba diving and snorkeling – there are two dive shops on the island. You can enjoy a traditional Thai massage on the beach or at the Good Time Resort, visit the Koh Mak Museum and discover the history of the island, or learn Thai cooking with "Smile Cooking School". Boats are easily hired to take you to some of the many other unspoiled islands nearby. In the high season, there is a regular speedboat service to the neighboring island of Koh Chang, the second biggest in Thailand. For just 190 Baht per day, you can enjoy breakfast at our restaurant.
