Times Top 30 wine bar (with great food) right across the road in a string of independents… corner shop, pizza stop, restaurants, deli, green grocers. Walking distance to Tramway art centre, Hidden Gardens, Bellahouston Park for gigs, Burrell (UK Museum of the Year) and several parks. Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stops right outside for city tours. The space Welcome to our large, well kept, quiet, top floor, traditional tenement flat. This is our home. Like us, our neighbours have lived here for decades and we are all friends. This is a popular, diverse, authentic Glasgow neighbourhood. We hope you’ll feel this is your home from home for your stay. Guest access You're free to come and go as you please. We want you to feel at home. This large double room is all yours. There’s a double bed, 2 seater sofa, antique chair and good size desk and deskchair. We share the bathroom. You're welcome to use the kitchen... to help yourself to hot drinks at any time and to make a simple breakfast. If you want to cook, let us know. Enjoy the garden when the sun pops out. During your stay You'll be sharing our home with us - Erin and partner Barbara (B). We aim to make you feel right at home too. Erin is an artist and has a studio in the flat. B is a consultant and celebrant and mostly works from home too. If we're home, we'll be around when you need us. We will give you peace and space too if you want that. (Lots of guests have found their room a zen retreat.) If we're away, our neighbour helps set up your room for you and we're always just a message away. (We split our time between city, country and coast and do a lot of adventuring so we may not be here when you visit. We mention this for guests who specifically want to meet local people.
