The Old Printworks Family Studio

Where local papers were printed for decades we now have a fully renovated modern home. Furniture and fittings reflect our love of travel and the origins of the building. We are offering the downstairs wing to guests, with a huge family studio (We also have two further double ensuite bedrooms) Booking all or one of the rooms visitors can explore the East Neuk of Fife, Dundee, Edinburgh, National Trust venues and the many golf courses and other attractions in the area. Relax or explore! The space We have dropoff parking and then paid car parking opposite or free a short walk away. There is a wide 7 step staircase up to the rooms with a handrail and baby gate at the top. The family studio has its own kitchen and eating area , with tea, coffee and simple breakfast including home made jam provided. You can enjoy a king size bed and a seating area that becomes a double bed. You can eat /work at the dining table where a high chair is provided if needed. We also have a cot available upon application. The Lady Burn flows past our front wall so you can sit on the deep window seat and watch the birds on the burn. ( small river) We do not have a dog at present but may be caring for a family dog. Guest access Guests are free to use the outside courtyard with seating area, but please access through your garden doors . The French doors in the Studio lead to the lower lawn where we have a toddler slide and a seat to enjoy the garden. The stone arch leads to the courtyard. TV is not in any of the rooms and due to COVID 19 precautions we are not sharing our family TV room at present . There is guest wifi connection if you wish to view on your own ipad or similar. You will find wifi details in your room. We have a few local brochures available and there is a tourist information office a short walk away. During your stay As this is our home we are usually available to answer questions or a quick phone call away. We will be present to welcome you, show you the room and the door opening system. We are normally happy to chat and can give some ideas for eating out and places of interest if asked. Other things to note There may be other guests staying in bedrooms 1 and/or 2, who will breakfast in the mezzanine area.
