Home to the Wompoo Fruit Dove and more than 40 other species of bird, our birdwatchers cottage is fully self contained, secluded, peaceful and 10 min drive to Mt. Lewis National Park and the Heritage Trail "The Bump Track" to Port Douglas. Situated approx 40 mins drive from Port Douglas in the Hinterland, take it easy at this unique and tranquil country getaway. No mobile phone coverage we use Wifi Messenger and WhatsApp internet reliable. The space The cottage is located beside our home. It has two private bedrooms. A booking for 2pax presumes one room is required. If you require the extra queen bed room it is a one off $45 (set up and cleaning fee) paid on arrival. You can park right in front of the cottage and have access to the surrounds, swimming pool and spa on arrangement so that we can give you privacy as the lap pool is behind the house. Guest access You will need a car but a pick up drop off bus is available to the nearby National Hotel Mt Molloy for meals and drinks.
