FARMHOUSE ROUSSOU/ COTTAGE ROUSSOU

Our farmhouse is located northwest of the plain of Vari Syros. About 1,400 meters from the sea. It's a 4-acre estate with olives and fruit trees The space Our farm is tree-lined with flowers and various plants in the surrounding area. The guest can walk among the trees, sit in their shade and enjoy the coolness by reading a book or drinking their coffee or wine. Each house has its own independent backyard. The interior of each house consists of an open plan kitchen living room, bathroom and bedroom. In the open plan area there are built-in sofas, which are also used for sleeping, kitchen cabinets with all utilities, electric stove, refrigerator and washing machine. Also a table with 4 (URL HIDDEN) bathroom has shower, sink, toilet bowl. There is a solar water heater and as the sun is daily the hot water abounds. The bedroom has a double iron bed, wardrobe old traditional wooden, bedside table and chair. Air conditioning in the very hot days of summer give breath away. The guest can take care of watering the flowers of his yard and trees! In September the hostess steps on the grapes and makes wine. Of course, wine is tasted by each guest regardless of the season. Participation in procedures is welcome. In October he makes the edible olives and in early November he collects the olives for oil. It's farmhouse jobs, tedious but pleasant. Anyone who participates receives the one that belongs to them!!! We follow ecological farming processes. For example, in the field there are free hens that clean the area from the various bugs and insects, contributing to the balance of the ecosystem. Surprise poetry reading and painting!!! In the kitchen – living room area there are built couches, which could be used for sleeping also, kitchen cabinets with all the necessary utensils, electric stove, refrigerator and a laundry machine. There is also a kitchen table with four chairs. There is a shower in the bathroom, a sink and toilet. There is a solar water boiler and since the sunshine is constant, the warm water is plenty. The bedroom is furnished by an iron double bed, an antique wooden closet, a small drawers stand and a chair. Air-conditioning units provide a breath of cool air in the hot summer nights. The guest may water the plants and the trees! In September the hostess makes her own house wine from her own grapes. Of course the guests may taste the house wine all year round. The guests are welcome to the pressing of the grapes. In October the table olives are picked, while in November the hostess collects the olives for the oil production. The jobs in the farm are tiring but pleasant. Whoever participates receives his due!!! We follow ecological farming procedures. For example, we have chicken running free in the farm which they clean the farm from bugs and insects and they contribute to the ecosystem balance. Reading poetry and painting comes as a surprise!!! Our souls relax in literature and arts. Guest access Guests can access the surrounding area where there are trees but not the yard of the other house, the hostess's house and the other buildings that exist in the area. The guests may have access in the yard and the farm where the trees are, but not in the front yard of the other house, the house of the hostess and the other buildings in the property.
