Description
Dera Baghdarrah is nestled amidst a forest in Bagdarah Nature Park, just 20 kms from Udaipur in Rajasthan. A joint venture with the state forest department, the luxury camp is situated at the edge of Bagdara Lake, known for it's population of resident crocodiles. Situated approximately 4 kms inside the forest from the park gate, the 5 luxury tents are an oasis of tranquility. The space The luxury forest camp gives one a true experience of staying in a forest. With the animals and birds in their natural habitat. We are not in the fringes of the forest but deep inside. Sleep to the sights of fireflies and the sound of crickets. And wake up to the call of the painted francolins, peacocks, prinias, sunbirds, minivets, cuckoos, woodpeckers, rain quails, munias and plenty more. Guest access Guests can access all the areas of the property. In addition we take guests for a walk in the forest. There is also a hut by the lake where one can spots the crocs up close. Other things to note Meals are available at an additional charge of 1200/- per person which includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can let us know your meal preferences at the time of booking. We provide vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian meals. We do not have air conditioners in the tents, but we do have a air cooler which can be moved around. The coolers are pretty effective in the dry Rajasthan weather here. Hot water geyser is installed in all the tents. Since the camp is inside the park premises, guests have to pay an entry fee at the park gate to the Forest Department. The rates are Rs. 130 for an individual (Indian), Rs. 500 for a foreigner, Rs. 300 for a 4 wheeler and Rs. 60 for a 2 wheeler.
