Red carpet apartment_Venice center
Description
Few minutes walking from Rialto, but in a very quiet and still authentic area.A self catering apartment with kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and all comforts, can host you for 3 days or longer periods. Please read the home rules before booking The space The apartment was founded in the Sixties from the conversion into residence of an old pre-nineteenth century building that was used as a carpentry warehouse. (typical of that period are some identifying signs on the wooden beams, a sort of "traceability ante litteram" to prevent the owner of the trunks from losing them during their descent from the Cansiglio forest to the lagoon via the river Piave) The previous owners, two Venetian architects, have restored it, making it comfortable and welcoming. When I saw it for the first time it struck me immediately for its strategic position and the somewhat 'bohemian' typical of the recovered places in cities like Venice. The apartment has a nice open plan of 45 square meters, where there are a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower, a large living area with dining table and sofa bed for two people and a sleeping area with double bed and a cloakroom. Ideal for 2 people, can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessed from a street very quiet and peaceful, easily reached from the vaporetto stop. The windows overlook a small and charming private venetian garden and on a small street that leads to the canal. The area is one of the most interesting of Venice. The house is located in the Santa Croce district, in an area between the Saint Lucia station, the bus terminal Piazzale Roma and Rialto area, famous for its daily market of fruits, vegetables and fresh fish and the many historic “osterie”open till late. The vaporetto stop San Stae on the Grand Canal is a hundred meters from the house and the Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio, one of the greenest fields in Venice, animated by bars, cafes and restaurants can be reached on foot in two minutes. In the immediate vicinity there are also some of the major museums of Venice: the Gallery of Modern Art (Ca 'Pesaro), the Prada Foundation(Ca' Corner della Regina) and the Museum of Natural Sciences (Fondaco dei Turchi). Other things to note _Check in is possible from 14:00 to 22:00 , on request and subject to acceptance by the host check in from 10 p.m. to midnight with payment of an extra €20 Registration Details IT027042C2WVQARDDU
