Kadju’s place is located in Nakulugamuna, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. Only a handful of private homes have direct access to our picture-perfect beach, with its soft white sand and swaying palms. The warm, clear waters of the Indian Ocean are ideal for body-boarding and swimming all year round. Fishing boats land in the morning and fresh fish can be bought directly from the boats. Around the rocky headland from our cove lies a long, curving bay with more enticing spots for sun-bathing and beach-combing. Boating, fishing and snorkeling trips can be arranged, when guests may encounter pods of playful dolphins and migrating whales. Kadju House is approximately 191km from Colombo. The drive from Colombo takes approximately three and a half hours on the new expressway connecting Colombo to Galle. There are interesting spots and diversions along the way. We particularly recommend a stop in Galle. After the 190km marker post, proceed for another 800m, passing first a temple on the left then going over a little bridge and when the road veers right, one would see another temple. Take a right turn onto a Cement road on the seaside directly opposite the temple gate (Jayasumanaramaya). Proceed up the road and The Kadju House is on the left at the end of the road.
