We invite you to stay at Southlynne - Art Deco House. Built in 1947 it has a sunny north-facing aspect. Our 2 bedroom home has been completely renovated to offer our guests quirky art deco charm with modern comforts. It is on a bus route, is close to the Launceston airport, and a short drive from the Launceston city centre ($11 in an Uber). Southlynne is the perfect place to base your visit to Launceston and Northern Tas. A stay at Southlynne will suit couples, singles and business travellers. The space Southlynne has beautiful Art Deco features including rounded bay windows in the lounge, main bedroom and kitchen. The house has the original deco ceiling roses and etched glass French Doors from the lounge into the hallway. The decor has been carefully chosen to create a calm, comfortable and sophisticated ambience. Guest access Guests at Southlynne will enjoy the privacy of a stylish 2 bedroom home with combined lounge room/dining area, kitchen with dining banquette, bathroom, laundry and 2 toilets. The main bedroom has a comfy King Size bed. The second bedroom has 2 Single beds. There is a leafy aspect from the main bedroom, while the second bedroom looks across the back garden to a mountain view. At the front of the house is an outdoor entertainment space - the perfect place to relax in the late afternoon.
