Sleeps 20 (not 16 because they website won’t take more than that number) in this charming historic country house, full of character on the edge of a sleepy village in rural Berwickshire with views through the tall trees to the romantic Lammermuir Hills. Large, generous bedrooms and outside, a mature garden with fruit trees, beech and oaks. The house has a barbecue area, a trampoline, and a swing ball and table tennis table. Several guests have hired a hot tub for the duration of their stay. The space Sitting on the edge of the quiet village of Swinton, the house benefits from a mature well tended garden with oak and beech trees. There is a trampoline for children and ample space to play hide and seek. Built in 1770, this is clearly not a modern house so if you do not like old properties you might be better off at Travelodge! Guest access If your group is under a certain number you will not have access to all the bedrooms: this is the same way that a hotel operates. IF you book say two rooms for four people you would not expect to be able to wander into other bedrooms. Other things to note Please park close to the house as branches occasionally fall on to the driveway from trees whose branches hang over the Church wall.
