The Devon Lodge

A cosy country lodge, situated in a secluded part of a holiday park. Not overlooked and with a private courtyard size garden. Plenty of local walking routes, fish and chips in Woolsery, near to Clovelly, Bude and the shopping areas in Bideford and Barnstaple. Lodge contains guide books for local activities and walks. Other local adventures are kayaking, cycling, surfing. Plenty nearby to entertain the kids too. Private fishing at Clifford Water Lakes. Allocated parking space. The space We have an enclosed garden (so safe for children and dogs to play in), our own driveway and a fast charger for electric vehicles. Guest access Whole lodge. There is a golf course on site but we have not opted in as the access is erratic, the quality of the course disappointing and there are better value golfing opportunities in Bude, Westward Ho! and Holsworthy to name just three. Other things to note Summer holiday bookings: please note school summer holiday bookings are limited to a minimum of 7 nights (usually Saturday-Saturday) There is a £200 damages deposit which will be fully refunded after the stay if no damages are incurred. The deposit is so high only due to recent guests not respecting the space and resulting in expensive work costs to bring the Lodge back to its full glory. We’re hopeful that all our future guests will be of a more respectful nature so are confident that we will not need to keep the deposit!
