Jaundang had been built in 1930 and newly renovated in 2011 by a renown Hanok carpenter Jeong Yeongsoo and an architect Kim Taek. It is separated between the 1st floor which is a Korean traditional house, Hanok and the downstairs equipped with modern amenities. Jaundang is located in heart of Bukchon Hanok Village surrounded by Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Shrine andthe home to hundreds of traditional houses called hanok that dates back to the Joseon Dynasty. The space Guests can use everything in the house including all the kitchen utensils and electronics. Guests can use all the items in the house (kitchen utensils and electronics). Guest access Guests can use everything and all the spaces such as a basement which a guest can take a rest with TV and music and also work a simple task using a big monitor if a guest has a laptop. In a kitchen equipped with basic utensils and appliances a guest can enjoy cooking and dining at the same time using a table to connect from a kitchen to a garden surrounded by real Korean tradition atmosphere. Please understand that we prepare only soaps for our environment as many hotels do in the world. Other things to note Self check-in & out and we send a house user manual after reservation confirmation. Accommodation supplies are available for 6 people. You must stay according to the domestic coronavirus distancing phase.
