Unique location, close to city

Beautiful house of 180 m2 on an island close to Stockholm city. By ferry and subway you're downtown in 30 minutes, but you can also enjoy the silence on this calm and vehiclefree island. The space Do you want to try island life in one of Stockholm's most unique places? Tranholmen is an island in Lilla Värtan and an urban area in the municipality of Danderyd, about 5 km north of Stockholm. A narrow strait separates the island from the mainland and the municipal part of Stocksund. Tranholmen is served by SL shuttle boat and several trips go to Ropsten both morning, noon and evening, the trip takes about 10 minutes. The house has a private jetty and if the tenant has boat experience, it is possible to rent a boat incl. mooring in Ropsten and Stocksund (Svanholmsparken). You are then free as a bird to come and go as you please to this unique archipelago accommodation only 30 minutes from Stureplan! For the car-borne, there is residential parking at Svanholmsparken in Stocksund. From the car park, you then walk / cycle over the 90 meter long winter bridge that lies in the strait between Stocksund and Tranholmen between November 1st and April 15th. Other time it is required that you have your own boat to get to Stocksund. The house on Tranholmen is rented out when it works for our family. The house is 180 m2 and has a completely open floor plan, there is a large kitchen, dining area, living room, glass porch, bathroom and laundry room. Twin doors open up to a large terrace partly under glass roof and in the back there is a hot tub with a nice ocean view. On the upper level there is 1 large bedroom with double bed (180cm) and access to a large balcony to the north and a bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. 1 bedroom with single bed (120cm) 1 bedroom with single bed with space for 2 people (140 cm). An office with desk and storage and 1 recreation room with armchairs and exit to a balcony to the west. In the garden there are 2 guest cottages. 1 with single bed (120cm) and one with a pull-out bed with space for 2 people (90 + 90 cm). Since this house is rented out separately, the garden can in some cases be shared with other guests, or someone in our family if we live in Attefallshuset during your stay. It usually works perfectly as the houses are spread out in different parts of the garden. We who live here today are a family of 2 adults and three children aged 8-17 years.
