Shepherds Hut: Rural Escape/Retreat with Views

A cosy shepherd's hut for two overlooking the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Luxury glamping in a beautiful tranquil setting with stunning views. Perfect for a romantic rural getaway / a retreat to connect with nature and recharge. The space There is a comfy double bed with memory foam mattress complete with all bed linen and a Baavet Duvet made with 100% British wool - naturally breathable and hypoallergenic. The space under the bed is free to put away bags or belongings. The kitchenette has a ceramic sink with hot/cold running water and is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, mini fridge with icebox, crockery, cutlery, utensils, wine glasses, flutes and the basic essentials - washing up liquid, all purpose sanitiser, dish cloth and tea towel. The shepherd's hut will be stocked with complimentary fairtrade tea and coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and marshmallows to toast on your campfire. We'll also leave a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival. There is a Smart TV inside your hut. Also 4G coverage and WIFI. There is a mirror with adjacent double socket for handy hair drying/straightening. Hope too you love our vintage kitchen side table with enamel top and our up-cycled stools. Both reflect the Welsh charm and vintage style of our hut. An electric fire offers clean, no mess, instant heat and our double glazed door and windows help to make our shepherds hut nice and cosy. There is a fire blanket inside the hut and a powder extinguisher is to be found in the Amenity Hut. Private bathroom facilities (flushing loo and walk in shower!) are a short 20m walk on a gravel path at the Amenity Hut. The gravel path also leads to your off road private parking area. The path is illuminated with sensor lighting but bring a torch as it may be uneven under foot. Our hut is named Llygad y Dydd which means Daisy in Welsh. There are truly stunning views to enjoy from the comfort of your hut not to mention from outside. There is self check-in place. A key code will be sent to you a few days prior to arrival. In the Amenity Hut too you'll find a lovely sheltered area with bistro set and wall mounted OS maps. A place where you can relax and still enjoy the outdoors and far reaching mountain views even when the weather isn't that great. Outside you have your own spacious and private paddock area with picnic bench, rustic log seating and a firepit/bbq. Enjoy the warmth and glow of a campfire with your someone special, taking in the sunset, dramatic skies and star after star. A complimentary campfire starter pack is included. We also provide secure bike storage in the form of your own little shed 'Cwt'. You can use this space too to hang any wet gear/jackets after a day's mountain biking or hiking in the Welsh hills. Here is where you'll find your campfire pack. Guest access There are four steps leading into the shepherd's hut. A gravel path leads from your private off road parking area via the Amenity Hut to your hut 'Llygad y Dydd'. So no treading through wet grass on trips to the bathroom and on days out!
