Description
Discover our house dating from the Middle Ages with its mullioned window characteristic of this era. A house full of history that we have restored and where you will be happy to spend a few days. Pleasant in winter with its two stoves and cool in summer thanks to its red stones typical of the region. 1 km from Collonges la Rouge and in the heart of the village of Meyssac, you can visit Corrèze and Lot just a few kilometers away. The space Our house is made of red stones typical of the region and beautiful oak beams. We do not have the exact date of construction but its "coussiège", the place where women sat to sew near the window, indicates that it probably dates from the Middle Ages. Which gives it all its charm! It is composed on the ground floor of a large bedroom of about 40 square meters with a bathroom area composed of a large walk-in shower and a vanity unit. In winter, the stove is there to warm you up. Access to the room can be from the alley that passes in front of the house. On the first floor are the main room where the kitchen and dining area are located with also a stove and adjoining, a small cozy living room. Finally, the Japanese-style staircase leads to the attic equipped with a double bed, two single beds and a water corner with toilet and sink. Close to the center of the village, you can enjoy the market and shops. Just 1 km from Collonges La Rouge and a stone's throw from the Lot, you can easily explore the region! The house is located right next to a place where parking is available. Guest access The whole house is available! Other things to note Beware of our stairs that are steep but once you get the hang of it (or the foot) to go down there are no worries. More complicated for people with walking difficulties/back problems.
