The Vanilla House

In the heart of the Morvan Regional Park in the village of Montreuillon, the 3-star gîte is a perfect base for your sports and cultural activities. Sports activities: hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, fishing. Cultural activities in historic places like Vezelay or the archaeological site of Bibracte. Served by a small road with very little traffic, this cottage offers a spacious garden. The grounds are enclosed and equipped with a children's playground. The space You arrive on a small street with very little traffic (about 10 cars per day). In front of the house is a terrace not overlooked by anyone, closed by a balustrade. This west-facing terrace is equipped with garden furniture and a large umbrella. You then enter a large kitchen equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker as well as a classic filter coffee maker, kettle, microwave oven and many small appliances. You have at your disposal a lot of dishes and bowls of all kinds. On your left, you have a large living room dining area with a table that can be extended to 14 place settings (with chairs). In the living room area you have two large leather sofas with ottoman around the fireplace with insert and wood available for cool evenings and on the wall is a large screen TV. On the left is a cellar equipped with an American fridge with water and ice dispenser, a washer-dryer, an ironing board with steam unit and shelves to store your supplies as well as a baby bed with a comfortable mattress and a high chair. At the back left of the living room are the toilet and a large separate bathroom with double sink, shower cubicle and bathtub. Opposite, still on the ground floor, is a large bedroom equipped with a 160 cm bed and a sofa that converts into two pull-out beds as well as a wardrobe. This bedroom opens onto the terrace through a large bay window equipped with an electric roller shutter. From the ground floor you go upstairs by two staircases, one starting from the kitchen, the other starting from the living room. Starting from the living room you arrive on a landing. On your right, a first bedroom (15 m2) equipped with a 160 cm bed, a dresser and a wardrobe, a second bedroom (15 m2) equipped with a 140 cm bed, a wardrobe and a small table with chair. Taking the corridor you arrive at an 11 m2 bedroom equipped with a 140 cm bed, a wardrobe as well as a small table and an armchair. Opposite this bedroom is a bathroom with a vanity, shower and shelves. Next to it are the separate toilets, to their right is a large 16 m2 bedroom equipped with a 140 cm bed and a pull-out sofa bed for one or two people, and a dressing room with shelves and a clothes rack. On the ground floor you exit the kitchen through a French window that overlooks a terrace equipped with two picnic tables with parasols. This terrace is EAST facing as well as the garden at the end of which you will find a portico with 3 swings and a slide and a covered terrace with a garden table and chairs as well as a 3-burner gas grill. You also have a shelter to possibly store bicycles. You have a ping-pong table with rackets and balls as well as petanque balls and of course deck chairs. You can park your cars on the property which is closed by a gate. To keep your children busy, there is a set of books and games. Linens are provided. Sports activities: hiking, canoeing and kayaking on the Yonne and the Cure, horseback riding, swimming (Lake Panneciere 8 km away and Les Settons 36 km away), bike rail 20 km away and the Nivernais Canal 8 km away. Located on the Yonne River in cat 1, the place is very popular with fishermen. Cultural activities within 50 km in historic places such as Vezelay or the archaeological site of Bibracte as well as festivals and music festivals. Served by a small road with very little traffic, this cottage offers a spacious garden and a large terrace. The grounds are enclosed and equipped with a children's playground. We live in the same village and are therefore at your disposal for any special requests.
