The space Modern house with wifi in hamlet of Broad Oak which is part of the parish of Garway. 25 mile views to Welsh Mountains. Bedroom and bathroom have underfloor heating. Large farmhouse style kitchen/breakfast room. In beautiful countryside yet only 15 minutes from the M50 Motorway at Ross on Wye. Easy parking on the drive. Automatic gate. Shop and petrol station with great mechanics only 150 metres. The Garway Moon pub only 1 mile, super food and beer. Large garden and sofas under the verandah to relax on and take in the views. Breakfast not included and not normally available but do ask. Living room generally off limits. Guests can prepare food in the kitchen and eat it in the kitchen/breakfast room but generally expected to leave the kitchen once cleaned up. But we may occasionally both fancy a beer together! I will provide you with all the information you need and am happy to chat about local services and ideas for leisure. But I do need time to myself and to take care of my daughter. Newcomers always welcome Only 45 minutes from the outskirts of Cardiff, 55mins from Bristol, 1hr 10 from Birmingham. All above airports about 1hr 15mins. Heathrow 2hrs 30 to 3hrs depending on traffic/driving style. Bus from the house to Hereford 3 times a day or a 1 mile walk/hitch will get you to the more regular Monmouth to Hereford bus. 5 miles away is the Hereford to Ross on Wye to Gloucester bus - bus stop at The Red Lion, Peterstow. Gloucester is best for cheap trains and coaches to London. Hereford and Abergavenny are the closest railway stations at 12 miles. Hereford best for Birmingham and Manchester trains. Everything is easier with your own car but pick ups can be arranged from bus and train stations. No smoking in the house. If you like the occasional cigarette we can agree on a space outside.
