Historic and cozy apartment in the center

The apartment is in the historic center of Volterra, a short walk from the central Piazza dei Priori and the panoramic Piazzetta dei Fornelli. Nearby you can find bars, grocery stores and typical craft shops of the city. The apartment is located on the first floor without an elevator and is distributed on two floors: on the first floor there is a kitchen and living room, on the second floor there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom. Everyone is welcome. The space The 50 sqm apartment is bright, with vaulted ceilings and antique terracotta floors that reflect the typical style of historic houses in medieval villages. The apartment's first floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a sofa bed and TV. Upstairs, with exposed beam ceilings, are a bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom (separated from the hallway by a curtain). From the windows on the second floor you can enjoy the view over the rooftops of the city. The location is very central, close to all the main attractions of the city: Piazza dei Priori and Piazza S. Giovanni, the Museum of Sacred Art and Palazzo Viti are just a few steps away. Also close to the panoramic Piazzetta dei Fornelli, where you can enjoy an aperitif in front of the spectacular sunsets that the Volterra countryside offers every evening. There are also small local craft shops, numerous restaurants and markets nearby. Guest access - The apartment is on the second floor of a small condo building. - Guests must be able to provide valid IDs at check-in. - You will be asked for your license plate number, if necessary, to obtain permission to enter the historic center to unload your luggage for free Other things to note TOURIST TAX The tourist tax, payable in cash upon arrival, is €2.00 per person per night up to a maximum of five nights. Minors up to and including the 12th year are excluded from the tourist tax. TEMPORARY TRANSIT PERMIT Guests can take advantage of a temporary transit permit, which can be used to circulate (NOT park) in the historic center at any time. This will allow guests to unload/load luggage near the apartment. The permit is free and valid for the entire stay. HOW TO GET IT: Send your license plate number in the chat when booking. Check in and park outside the ZTL. I'll be able to show guests the nearest free parking during check-in.
