Description
Enjoy your stay in this bespoke art gallery among the artwork of our resident S.A. artist Janine Howlett where you can purchase or enjoy her art while soaking up the ambiance. Deluxe private accommodation for one or two couples; 2 QS bedrooms with own en suites with underfloor heating; slow combustion wood fire; Generous breakfast provisions; Quality indoor and outdoor cooking facilities; Locally made meals available to enjoy with your choice of wine. This is an opportunity not to be missed. The space Irongate Studio B&B was originally a shed built on a five-acre block prior to subdividing by previous owners. One-acre blocs were sold, and the previous owners built the addition at the front of the original shed to allow for a gallery and a working studio; there were no wet areas and no kitchen. Following our purchase of the property in June 2016 we set to work transforming the space into this bespoke accommodation which we are delighted to be able to share with you. In October 2018 we were delighted to welcome our South Australian resident artist Janine Howlett who is showcasing her work throughout the Studio. All of Janine’s unique and creative artwork is available for purchase or you can commission Janine to create a unique piece to suit your space and décor. What better way to remember your stay in the charming township of Mintaro in the scenic Clare Valley. There is a lap pool is situated directly in front of the owner's residence and there is access to the pool from Irongate Studio's private courtyard. The pool is available to guests for fitness and lap swimming. We look forward to welcoming you to Irongate Studio B&B and providing you with a memorable stay in Mintaro – the Jewel in the Crown of the Clare Valley. Guest access We opened the space by making a double entrance into the now butler’s style kitchen allowing two designated areas to be formed to create two bedrooms each with its own en-suite and underfloor heating. We have traveled extensively with friends and appreciate the value of this feature. In cooler months, the underfloor heating will be left on for your comfort 24 hours a day. We built the undercover area at the back and enclosed the area to provide our guests with privacy and an area where they can sit outside enjoy the ambience, listen to the birds while enjoying a glass of Clare Valley wine. We have tried to include everything you could possibly need for your stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a Webber BBQ with indoor and outdoor seating for 4 people. The undercover patio area has a ceiling fan and gas heating for your comfort all year round. Each bedroom has its own TV and separate air-conditioning unit and each bathroom has toiletries provided including quality hairdryer, Sheridan bathrobes, towels and bed linen. Additional blankets and bathrobes can be found in the chest in the living area along with games etc. The living area is also air-conditioned or if you prefer in the cooler months from Easter to the October long weekend you can enjoy the heat the ambiance of the sleek modern slow combustion wood heater. A discreet clothesline / stainless steel wire is provided on the western end of the outdoor area and pegs, washing liquid, iron and ironing board are provided in the pantry cupboard. The dishwasher in the kitchen has an ideal short cycle. The Nespresso coffee machine has instructions for use and ample supplies of coffee pods. There is a Soda Stream available for guests.
