Waterfront Cabin & VW Bus Camper! Kayaks, Canoes!

"Camp Peace" is one of the 12 cabins my husband and I developed in 1997. It includes a 1-room cabin that sleeps 2 on a futon and a vintage VW Bus with an air mattress. Both have electric heat and A/C! The cabin has a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, sink, and coffee maker. There is a private bath with a marine toilet and a hot shower. You'll have free use of kayaks & canoes to navigate the islands in front of your cabin and bicycles to use on the 10-mile-long wooded hiking & biking trail! The space Boo zow, Oda wan, or hello to my non indigenous friends. Welcome to Kinjoano Village, an Ottawa Indian reservation that was established by the famous "Chief Pontiac" over two hundred years ago! We would like to invite you to walk the land where he and his tribe lived in the early eighteen hundreds. Remember to keep an eye out for arrowheads and other Indian artifacts that we may have left behind. Mee gwetch, or, thank you. In addition to "Camp Peace Cabin," and the VW Bus Camper, you'll also have exclusive use of a 16 foot, 4-person teepee at "Kinjoano Village," a former Indian reservation! Bring the kids and go arrowhead hunting on land that was occupied by the Ottawa Indians over 200 years ago! (No one has ever not found at least 1 arrowhead!) Guest access "Camp Peace Cabin" is a part of "Riverwood Log Cabins. Riverwood consists of 12 cabins along the beautiful Maumee River," approximately 2 1/2 miles from historic Waterville, Ohio. "Camp Peace" is snuggled into the woods and is the last cabin on our property. Beyond that, we own "Kinjoano Village," a former Indian reservation once occupied by the famous "Chief Pontiac!" In addition to the small cabin that sleeps 2 on a futon sofa bed, there is a 1965 orange and white VW Bus Camper that sleeps 2 on a soft mattress. (Both have great heat and air conditioning.) If you have extra guests, you'll also have exclusive use of a 4-person teepee at "Kinjoano Village," Riverwood's own former Indian reservation! Other things to note While you can have up to 8 guests at no extra charge, we limit the number of vehicles to 2 per site.
