Hafod Hedd is set in a beautiful private woody location on a the banks of a river. It is the perfect get away for adventurous souls who wish to escape the modern world! Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river. The space Hafod Hedd is a cosy 1 roomed dwelling with a double bed. There is cold running water, a vintage wood burning stove, and a window overlooking the river. The dwelling is heated by sustainable timber and the roof is insulated with real sheep wool. The bed is kept warm by a baavet, wool duvet. It is a quirky, romantic and totally unique space, set in a peaceful private location. Guest access Hafod Hedd is set in a private wooded loc within a working farm with a farm trail nearby. Vehicles can be left in a safe off road location to the rear of the farm and then the dwelling is accessed by walking over a small footbridge. Other things to note Wales' weather is notoriously changeable, so bring plenty of wet weather clothing. The compost toilet is up a steep path so bring a torch and wellies in case you are caught short in the night!
