Large traditional chalet in the heart of the Alps

Our lovely chalet stands in its own grounds and overlooks the Lac de Vonnes, just 10 minute walk from village centre and 100 metres from the ski lifts linking the Super Chatel and Linga ski area. It is possible to ski back to the chalet door. We have 5 ensuite family bedrooms, a children's playroom, lounge with open fireplace, and lovely panelled dining room plus a lovely decked terrace with sunken jacuzzi. All in all a fabulous space to enjoy. The space Chalet La Sonnaille is superbly located and offers much more than a place to crash for the night. We built our lovely chalet back in 1997 using the best local craftsmen. All the bedrooms are spacious and have ensuite bathrooms and 4 have stunning views over the tranquil Lac de Vonnes. There is a sunny decking area with a hot tub. Our beautiful, flat landscaped garden leads down to the lake. The children's playroom has satellite tv (French and English) and dvd player. The lounge has a welcoming open fireplace and breath-taking views over the mountains. Our traditional panelled dining room has an old magistrates table that can seat everybody really comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge freezer, large electric oven with 5 gas hobs and a seperate combination oven, a drinks fridge and two dishwashers. 340m2 of space. In the winter there is a heated boot warmer in the boot/ski room. Guest access Our family live in a ground floor apartment in the chalet and do share the front part of the garden with guests. In the winter the boot room with heater boot warmer is also a shared space. The chalet has its own separate access and the large balcony and decking area are for guest use only..
