Retro Whiritoa is a character 3 Bedroom home nestled in the beautiful seaside beach community of Whiritoa, just a few minutes walk to the beach (180m), tennis courts, playground, surf club, and local store. Its traditional Kiwi Bach style is simple, & charming with great indoor-outdoor flow. There's a bbq area, deck, lawn and plenty of spaces to enjoy in the sun or shade. Its child-friendly so you can really relax. It's the perfect getaway for couples, families, or a few friends to enjoy. The space Whiritoa is a beautiful beachside community situated between Whangamata (13km) and Waihi (16km). Whiritoa Retro Bach is a traditional Kiwi Bach, suitable for couples, families, and friends ideal for 2-6 guests. The bach is in a quiet, private setting, set back from the main road and is just a few minutes walk (180m) to the beach. The Bach has 2 Queen Rooms and a Bunk Room with Linen and Bath Towels provided. Please bring your own Beach Towels. (The bach is suitable for under two's but you will need to bring your own cot and bedding for the little one). We have free view TV and a cosy fireplace for the winter months. There is no WiFi provided. The Kitchen is fully equipped, with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. There is a BBQ available on the outside deck - Please clean the BBQ after use. There is a washing machine available for use. Please bring your own eco-friendly laundry powder. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible, you'll find the small recycling bin for glass and the large black one for plastics and cardboard at the front of the house. Any general rubbish can be placed in the Yellow Council Rubbish Bags (in the pump house). You can purchase extra Rubbish Bags at the local store if needed. Please put the Rubbish and Bins at the front gate for collection on Mondays. The Local Whiritoa Beach Store has basic supplies, coffee, ice cream, cold drinks, and takeaways, and rubbish bags. Check the sign out front for opening hours as they are seasonal. Supermarkets, Restaurants and Petrol Stations are nearby in Whangamata or Waihi. Please be water safe and swim between the flags in front of the Surf Life Saving Club. The Surf Club is a great place to go for an afternoon drink or bite to eat at the bar, check the sign out front for opening nights and events. During the off-season, the beach is not patrolled so please be mindful of this and check the conditions before entering the water. The lagoon at the northern end of the beach is a great place to take the smaller kids. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space.
