Description

The apartment has a private Pool. Mattresses from IKEA so you can have a good nights sleep. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A balcony with a fantastic seaview. In the kitchen you will find most of the essentials you need if you would like to do some cooking and there is also a combined washingmachine/dryer. This is one out of two identical apartments in our E-Building, we apply "run-of-the-house" concept depending on avaliability at your check-in. The space ⚠️ IMPORTANT – Construction Notice / No Refund Policy From March 15 to December 15, construction is ongoing on the land in front of the property between  08:00–17:00 daily. The level of activity varies and may include heavy machinery, concrete work and other construction activities. This apartment is located close but not directly behind the construction area. A construction discount is already included in the listed price. Within the rest of Malee Highlands, only light off-season maintenance such as painting may occur and is not disruptive to guests. By booking this apartment, guests acknowledge the ongoing construction and agree that no refunds or compensation will be provided due to construction-related disturbances Malee Highlands is a serviced apartments area, beautifully located in the mountains with stunning views over the sea, strategically positioned between two of Koh Lanta’s most renowned beaches, Klong Dao and Long Beach. This elevated area offers a peaceful oasis away from the bustling and crowded areas, while still being conveniently located in the heart of the island. From here, you can enjoy magnificent views of the sea, sunsets, mountains, surrounding islands, and the beautiful beaches of Koh Lanta. The fresh mountain breeze adds to the charm, creating a sense of calm and tranquility. Malee Highlands offers self-catered apartments, which means that as a tenant, you pay for the resources you use (such as electricity, water, laundry, cleaning, and consumables like toilet paper and garbage bags), but you are also responsible for certain tasks, such as managing your own waste disposal. In other words, it provides a more independent living arrangement where you have greater responsibility for the day-to-day management of your rented vacation home. We place great emphasis on sustainability, which is reflected in our recycling initiatives, low energy consumption, and efficient waste management practices. We believe it is our responsibility to preserve this exceptional place and ensure that Koh Lanta continues to thrive as a paradise for generations to come. In addition to its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings, Malee Highlands offers a wide range of recreational facilities for both residents and visitors. Within the area, you will find a padel court and a pickleball court, perfect for friendly matches. Sports enthusiasts can also take part in friendly competitions on the volleyball court or the boules courts, where you can gather with friends or meet new people while enjoying the game. For those seeking some fun, there is a small water park where you can cool off and enjoy water slides. The area also has a gym, an activity room and a spa with a variety of treatments, such as massages, hair spa, lash lifts, and more. Malee Highlands has its own kids' club called Fun Factory, open to all children on Koh Lanta aged 4 to 12, regardless of where they live. Here, you can leave your child to enjoy a wide range of activities with their Fun Factory friends, such as group games, crafts, puzzles, table tennis, and much more. Fun Factory is open Nov- March only. When it’s time to satisfy your culinary cravings, the area features a viewpoint restaurant and a cozy café with a pool bar. The restaurant offers a diverse menu to cater to all tastes, serving Thai, Western, and Swedish cuisine, among others. The café serves breakfast, coffee, pastries, and light lunches. Malee Highlands offers a holistic living experience, combining the beauty of its natural surroundings with a range of recreational facilities and a culinary experience that reflects the cultural diversity of its residents and visitors. IMPORTANT • The Activity Room is open for use, but children must be supervised by an adult. The room is monitored by a CCTV camera. • Smoking inside the apartments is strictly forbidden. If smoking on the balcony, please ensure that all doors are closed. • All use of marijuana, cannabis, or any other drugs is strictly prohibited. • Pet-Free Area – No pets are allowed in any of the apartments. EXCLUDED IN RENT Electricity: 7 THB/kWh Water: 70 THB/m3 Laundry (Towels and Linens) will be charged with 50 THB/kg weekly plus check-out laundry. NOTE! The area rules have a mandatory cleaning one time per week and will be added with 600 THB/week plus check-out cleaning and laundry. An estimate for use of water, electricity, laundry and cleaning of 3000 THB per week will be pre-paid in cash at check-in. The actual cost is balanced at check out. Fun Factory is open Nov- March only. • Highlands Spa, where you can relax and unwind with a wide range of treatments, including massages, hair spa, lash lift and more. • Shuttle bus service and school bus, making transportation easy and convenient. • Tours booking, making it easy to plan and book excursions. • Minimart, stocked with essential goods and daily necessities. • Car and motorcycle rental with safe helmets, for exploring the area with ease. • Gym, fully equipped for your workouts. • The Activity Room, perfect for various indoor activities such as table tennis and air hockey. • Boule courts, for a fun and social game. • Pickleball court, ideal for a fast-paced match. • Padel court, for an exciting game or tournament. • Billiards table, available for casual or friendly games. • Volleyball court, perfect for team play and exercise. • Football goals, for a fun kickabout or a full game. • Daily events during high season, including buffets, live music, tournaments across various sports etc. Other things to note Before Arrival: The address for your arrival card is Malee Highlands 700 Moo 3, T. Saladan Koh Lanta, Krabi 81150 Transfer Service: For a smooth and comfortable journey, we recommend using our air-conditioned minivan with a driver who will take you directly to your villa. If you're traveling with children, please let us know their ages so we can arrange a baby seat (for ages 1-3) or seat cushions (for ages 4-8). For a comfortable ride, we recommend a maximum of 8 passengers with a standard amount of luggage. Example price: 2,500 THB one way from Krabi Airport. No waiting time – we check you in upon arrival when you book your transfer with us! Arrival Day: Upon check-in and key handover, we will record the electricity and water meter readings. Since this unit is not a resort or hotel but a self-catered, privately owned apartment, electricity and water are charged separately. Each guest pays for their actual usage. The estimated cost for normal consumption in this unit is 3,000–6,000 THB per week, which we collect in cash upon check-in. The meters are read again at check-out, and most guests receive a refund. Check-in is usually conducted at the Area Office. If you arrive after office hours, please contact us with your arrival details. A welcome sign with important phone numbers and the WiFi login will be provided. The day before departure, we kindly ask you to visit the office to arrange your check-out time. This allows us to coordinate with your transfer departure and ensure enough time for a final inspection, meter readings, and cost reconciliation against the deposit made at check-in.
