The Grange Woodhouse
Description
The Grange Woodhouse is an eco-lodge surrounded by our 164-acre rewilding project in the Borders of Scotland. We (Webmart, a Sustainable Marketing Agency) recently planted 12,000+ mixed trees and created 25 ponds with the aim of recreating a Caledonian forest, making this a rural idyll. The lodge is off grid relying on solar power (and a back up generator) for power with a log burning stove for heat and cooking, there is also a small gas hob and BBQ. Ideal for families and groups of friends. The space There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and one with bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living area thus sleeping up to 10 people comfortably. There is a small fridge and freezer in the kitchen with a larder fridge by the entrance, providing ample cold storage for large groups. Wood is provided for the log burning stove and wood can be collected from the surrounding forest for the fire pit which is great to sit round and enjoy the unpolluted dark, starry night sky.
