Originally a fishermans Net Loft it then became an artist’s studio before it was then converted to this self contained secret bolt hole. Quirky and homely, it's a perfect bolt hole base to explore West Cornwall. Courtyard to safely store bikes :) The space The Net Loft its just off Duck Street, through an alleyway into a cobbled courtyard. The bedroom on the ground floor has an en suite shower room with under-floor heating, a double bed with a pocket sprung mattress, pine floors with reclaimed timber cupboards build by local joiners. Stairs lead up to the first floor open plan living-room, light and airy with a solid maple floor the perfect place to cook up a romantic meal for two or simply sit back and unwind. From here, steep narrow stairs lead up to a mezzanine furnished with a day bed, books and games, ideal for relaxing come rain or shine. Ground Floor: Bedroom with solid pine floor and reclaimed timber cupboards, pocket sprung double bed, a recycled wooden rope reel as a bedside table, bedside light as well as main lights with under stair storage of suitcases / bags ( here you will find a travel cot if needed although we don’t provide any bedding ). Hangers for coats. En suite shower / wet-room with underfloor heating, WC and wash-basin, 2 shower mats and two towels. First Floor: A light and airy with solid maple floor and open vaulted ceiling. Open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas. Comfortable sofa for two, dining table ( that opens up larger if you need it ) two traditional wooden seats. There is a new curved Smart Samsung TV ( with instructions ) and an wireless speaker if you need to connect your phone / tablet. Under the TV you can find a selection of games and more storage. Next to the TV unit there are an interesting selection of books about the local areas, walking, arts, etc. Next to the sofa is a cupboard which can be used as a wardrobe or storage, you can also find a hairdryer, iron and ironing board an electric fan if you get too hot or extra heater if you feel to cold. The kitchen is well equipped. Electric cooker / grill and fridge / freezer. We provide sugar, salt/pepper, ground coffee, tea and milk . There’s a set of pans for cooking, a toaster, even a slow cooker, graters, squeezers and crushers. Wine glasses ( there is a secret wine rack built into the kitchen unit !!) juice glasses, water jug, mugs, tea pot with tea cups and saucers. Over the sink drainer to hide washed plates etc. Washing liquid, fresh cleaning sponges, tea towels and kitchen roll all provided with compliments. Mezzanine Floor: Careful up and down the narrow stairs to the next level, on the mezzanine you will find a day bed, relax read, stare up at the clouds or stars through the veils window.
