Lovers of nature and the essentials, whether for a weekend as a couple, with family or friends, for a birthday, a glamping experience, a digital detox weekend, a weekend discovering the fauna and flora, in all cases you will appreciate the lush nature of the place and living the essentials, disconnected from urban life and screens. Essential does not mean without comfort, since each teepee is equipped with foam mattresses. The space A camp on a 2000 m2 island surrounded by nature, 15 min from the city center of Amiens, consisting of: - 2 teepee tents (Bell Tent 4 pers and 6 pers) - 2 fishing tents (Caperlan 2 pers and 3 pers) The tents are equipped with comfortable air mattresses. Glampers bring their duvets and pillows. Common areas: - Large campfire area - A sheltered hut with a kitchen area, camping gas, drinking water in jerry can, table and chairs - Dry toilets - A shower - 6 hammocks and a swing Bring your camping bowl, a pocket knife, a headlamp, a musical instrument to possibly animate a vigil. What makes the accommodation unique is its location, a 100% natural Robinson camp type floating orchard, surrounded by 4 land-art islands, the diversity of its inhabitants (squirrel, frogs, woodpecker, kingfisher, coots, fruit trees and medicinal plants) and encounters with nature lovers. Guest access Access is only by boat. The pier is below the 8 mai 1945 bus stop, rue Roger Allou opposite rue du 8 mai 1945, 5 min from Amiens Nord train station. You have a boat during your stay. You have access to an open but private space where you will find your teepee furnished with 4 foam mattresses + garden furniture + a hammock + solar shower You have access to the common areas: - a hut/summer kitchen - a barbecue area - a shower area - a permaculture orchard - two dry toilets for 4 teepees To access the neighboring islets of the Art and Garden festival, book on the Art and Gardens of the Hauts de France website and go to the Port à Fumier 35 Rue Roger Allou, 150 m from your pier for an electric boat ride between Art and Nature. Opening hours: – May to June and September to October: open Wednesday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – in July, August: open Tuesday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – public holidays: open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Last departure at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy the ride to the fullest (duration: 2.5 hours). Departure after this time may sometimes be considered depending on availability, subject to a return by 7 p.m. at the latest. Other things to note To fish, the daily rate is 12 euros, to be paid on the UPA (Union of Amiens Fishermen) website. The island is surrounded by 2 private ditches and a public river where it is possible to fish. You can also go by boat along the rivers, the multiple canals of the Somme, which are directly accessible from our island. If you prefer to fish in the river, just settle on one of the many pontoons of the towpath 5 minutes by boat. In short, there is plenty to do! Eels, white fish, pike and tench await you. No electricity, no running water, no hard constructions on the ground so provide drinking water and solar charger or external battery for laptops. Available: - a 2-burner gas stove in the hut - dishes, table and chairs for 12 people - A hand well/hand fountain - Dry toilet with sawdust and ash - Solar lamps - A shower area under a willow dome - A spray solar shower in each teepee
