Detached, large garden, beaches nearby great views

Escape the crowds to visit the wonderful coastline & countryside of Somerset with lots to do in the area for all ages. Our detached house is within a pretty Exmoor National Park village, close to beautiful beaches. We have fabulous views, surrounding large garden, south facing patio, BBQ & fire pit . The kitchen is well equipped, we have 4 double bedrooms, a folding single bed & sitting room with fire. Home made scones & a bottle of fizzy welcome you! I am flexible so do message with questions. The space The house has superb views from all bedrooms and is surrounded by a mature garden. Our private drive leads to parking for about 6 cars. We have 3 kayaks for you to use , a BBQ, fire-pit, 4 sun-loungers, parasol, spare bedding and extra chairs. The village is beautifully located within the National Park with many walks from our doorstep. We also have a village shop selling essentials & local produce and a bar with garden open on Friday evenings serving a range of drinks and local ales. Our kitchen opens out onto the patio, which is south facing making the patio the perfect place for BBQs & evenings under the stars around the fire-pit. We are within Exmoor National Park's dark sky reserve & on a clear evening the stars & planets in the sky above the house are stunning to see. Our kitchen has a dishwasher, electric hob & oven, fridge, air fryer, aga ( winter only) and microwave, as well as plenty of pots, pans, crockery and utensils. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with fridge-freezer, boiler for the heating & hot water, washing machine, sink, drying racks, iron, ironing board, everything you need for your stay. The hall leads to the sitting room which has stunning views, settee, chairs, small tables, open wood fire, smart tv & a range of dvds & family games for your use. Close-by is the downstairs loo & a downstairs bedroom with stunning views, large doors opening onto the garden, a double bed, single folding bed, hanging space, chest of drawers, 2 easy chairs & a freeview TV. A staircase leads to the upstairs landing with 3 other good sized double bedrooms all with great views of the garden & countryside. The largest upstairs bedroom has an ensuite shower room, a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, freeview TV and is very light & comfortable . There are 2 further double bedrooms upstairs, one with a sink, both with lovely views, plenty of cupboard space, wardrobe space etc. There is a family bathroom on the landing with a sink, separate bath and cubicled shower. The house has central heating with radiators in all rooms and is very well equipped so that you can live "home from home" and have a great stay here. The house has stunning views of Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor. We are close to the beautiful & varied Devon & Somerset coast & the start/end of the South West Coastal Path depending on which way you want to go! There's lots to do in the area for both adults & children including Dunster castle, Watchet (home of the Ancient Mariner), Tropiquaria, Exmoor Zoo, Lynton and Lynmouth and the beautiful natural scenery and old picturesque villages of Exmoor. The nearest town, Minehead (3 miles away) has a sandy beach, steam railway, plenty of shops and a good range of supermarkets. I can be flexible on things such as numbers and possibly dates so please message me if you have any particular requirements & I will do my best to accommodate you, thank you. Guest access No-one else will be onsite, you will have the house completely to yourselves. We may ask you to feed our cat whilst we are away. Our cat lives mainly outdoors entering the utility room via a catflap, we don't let her into the rest of the house. Other feeding arrangements for the cat can be made, please message me if you would prefer this, or, she can go away on her own mini break! Other things to note Dogs are welcome free of charge but not allowed upstairs please or on the furniture. I may consider more than 2 dogs but please message me if this is the case.
