This gorgeous two-bedroom detached cottage in Hope Cove is just minutes from the beach and the village centre. The Knot is packed full of character with a nautical theme throughout. A short 5 minute walk takes you into the heart of the village where you can fall on to the beach or into the pub - your choice! An upside down configuration makes the most of the views with the open plan living accommodation providing a lovely light airy feel. Chargeable EV point plus use of kayak if required. The space The Knot is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom cottage within easy access of the South West coast path and the beach. On the ground floor, a double bedroom features an ensuite wet room with a shower unit, WC, sink, and heated towel rail. The room is furnished with a king-sized bed and matching bedside units. It also has a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. If you want to be totally indulgent, relax in bed and watch TV, as this room has a wall-mounted television. Please note access to the en suite access is approximately 2 inches narrower than the standard door width. Bedroom 2 is furnished with 2 single beds and a range of built in wardrobes. Accessorized in the same nautical theme found throughout the cottage this room comes with it’s own porthole window! The family bathroom is also on the ground floor and comprises of a lovely modern suite with bath and shower over, wc and sink. Blue folding shutters complete the look! Upstairs there is the most wonderful feeling of light. With huge windows that give you views across fields to one side and the sea in the distance to the other, this living space is truly lovely. This room is stylishly furnished with 2 two seater leather sofas with matching chairs and coffee table. The tv unit houses the flat screen tv with freeview and dvd player. There are large French Windows that open up on to a Juliette balcony. The dining area seats 4 comfortably with 4 chairs and an unusual, quirky painted wooden bench. At the end of this room, overlooking the front of the property is the modern kitchen fitted with a range of units, oven and matching microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge freezer. The wooden shutters and another porthole window complete the nautical theme. To the front of the property is an enclosed patio area with raised flower borders and furnished with wooden table and chairs for a spot of el fresco dining. The Knot has wifi and there is off road parking for 2 cars. We also offer the use of our kayak. Guest access The whole house is for private sole use of guests. Other things to note We also have a double kayak that you are able to use AT YOUR OWN RISK. We just ask that you are respectful when using it. You will need to supply your own buoyancy aids.
