Hidden harbour cottage by the sea!

This gorgeous fisherman's cottage is a complete gem. Peaceful and hidden, only steps from the harbour and white sandy beaches. It is one of the most popular cottages in St Ives harbour, where people come back yearly having had wonderful, memorable holidays. Guests will discover it's 'home from home' feel and idyllic charm. It is light, comfortable and truly loved, with a tiny secret garden & glimpses of the seaside seconds away! Linen, towels plus lovely welcome pack inc wine etc included. The space Perfect for dogs. Contains a cellar floor which is super cosy and practically self contained with ensuite bathroom, double bed, sofa bed and separate entrance - perfect for a separate group ie; grandparents/couples/teenage kids. Not suitable for toddlers due to stairs. We do not provide highchairs, travel cot etc..We do provide one staircase at the top of the stairs for both stairscases but not the bottom. Get in touch if you have guests with mobility issues before booking. Guest access Access can be found by taking the steps up on the left of Cintra Seafood in the harbour and taking the fork to the left past a few cottages. Turn left into the tunnel and then the cottage is up the steps and 2nd on the right. Main access is from the front door of the property. However, there is also a back door next to the very small and quaint secret garden at the back of the property and a separate entrance to the cellar. If you wish to avoid steps you can use this door which leads onto Back road west. As well as this you can access the cellar with a key if you have luggage you wish to drop off on this level. There are keys for all entrances found in the key safe. Other things to note Although we welcome groups, please keep noise to a minimum as the cottage is semi detached, with another holiday cottage next door. Please also note that as this is a 300 year old fishermans cottage it retains many features including granite and blue elvan rock. Due to these features we keep a de humidifier in the cellar in case it is required during prolonged wet spells during the winter. The small garden area can only fit 2 people or 4 at a squeeze! The harbour beach is only 30 seconds away. Please bring your beach towels as these are not provided. People with mobility issues should be aware of cobbles and quite steep steps.
