Stay in our beautiful B&G Cole designed home nestled in the Artisan Hills boutique wine region. We are located in the Research/Eltham/Warrandyte area on the Melbourne urban fringe. You will enjoy totally private and tranquil accommodation with large lounge/entertainment room, bathroom and gourmet kitchen. Outside patio with seating and breathtaking bush views will delight. Extensive wildlife all around and only 26km to Melbourne. Montsalvat, Yarra Valley and St Andrews Market are nearby. The space The apartment is located on the lower level of a beautiful home set on a magical 2 1/2 acres of bush, guests will have the complete lower level to themselves with privacy and own entrance. Absolute peace and tranquillity is guaranteed together with lots of wildlife including many kangaroos to watch. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, modern and fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning and hydronic heating for your every comfort. The bedroom is a separate room from the lounge. The lounge room includes an LG 83” smart TV with 6 speaker surround sound which includes free access to Netflix and Britbox, or you can log into the other streaming apps. Fantastic for a movie night in with the complimentary wine or watching the footy! There is plenty of outside area to relax and unwind and enjoy the views, also use of a fire pit if you would like to toast marshmallows whilst watching the setting sun, the wood is plentiful and free, note - not available during CFA fire restrictions in summer. Guests are free to roam the land and relax at the bottom of the paddock to watch the Kangaroos. Off street free parking is available at the rear of the property close to the apartment. The apartment has a beautiful well equipped kitchen complete with all appliances and cookware; home grown herbs are available in the garden for the Masterchef within you! Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are all available for free. A complimentary bottle of wine is provided for your stay - just nominate your choice of red or white! Also included are basic breakfast items of cereal, bread, butter, milk, free range eggs and fresh fruit. The bedroom has bush views and a TV so you can stay in bed and watch TV - if you prefer. Also the bed is complete with luxury bedding including a soft mattress topper which is a dream to sleep on. A BBQ is available on the upstairs decking for guests use. An iron and clothing drying rack are available in the apartment. The washing machine in the main building is available for use upon request. Long stay bookings for up to 30 days are accepted. For long term guests the apartment will be cleaned once a week. This property is exempt from the Short Term Levy. Guest access Guests have full access to the downstairs studio, patio and extensive back garden. Access to the apartment is at the rear of the property through the glass sliding door, there is no need to walk through the house - total privacy is assured. Guests may use the washing machine in the main house upon request. A washing line is available outside at the side of the house. A BBQ is available on the upstairs decking for guest use. Other things to note There is just myself and husband David living in the household, it is very quiet and peaceful, the frogs and birds are more noisy than we are! NOTE: All guests must be registered in the booking. No third party bookings - guests must not book for family and friends, full transparency is required at all times.
