Mexican hacienda-style walled front & back yards are completely private, w/beautiful gardens of desert trees & cacti, colorful bougainvilleas & fountains. Minutes from neighborhood eateries, world class dining, upscale shopping, golf, Westin La Paloma & Ventana Canyon resorts, Gem Show Convention Ctr, miles of paved biking & walking paths, hiking, Sabino Canyon, UofA campus & lively downtown night scene. The space Whether you choose to take advantage of Tucson's many outdoor opportunities, spend the day relaxing by the pool (water temp. is 80-90 degrees May-Sept), soaking in the healing desert "dry heat", reading and/or napping on our swing-bed on the covered portal, or all of the above, we want you to have a memorable experience at our Old Foothills Hacienda! There are 2 guest suites, each with their own private bath, in a separate wing of our home. One has a queen bed and the other has a king bed. Both have beautifully remodeled en-suite bathrooms with exquisite Mexican tile. Guest access Both guest rooms have their own flat screen TV's, however, all guests may use the family room with flat screen TV, located just a few feet away from the guest rooms. All guests may enjoy the lovely walled gardens, large covered portal, swimming pool and chaise lounges in complete privacy. There is a private outdoor shower, too! Although everyone uses the main front door, the guest rooms and family room are in a private, separate wing of the house from the home owners' living area. During your stay We do enjoy some socializing with our guests (i.e., sharing a glass of wine upon arrival, conversation while preparing their breakfast, etc.) We are always happy to share information about local sights, interesting things to do, and of course, restaurant recommendations. Other things to note We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot accept guests with pets or children.
