The cabin sets in a meadow looking at the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, A pond and lush green grass make this a special place. The cabin has all of the amenities including Wifi. It has running water, a bathroom and a full kitchen, but the special part is the beautiful setting. The entrance of the property borders the Rio de La Casa, a small river running with clear mountain runoff. You may see sheep grazing the meadows, the quiet solitude in this beautiful valley will bring peace to your soul. The space This space is unique in it's location. Set on the edge of Los Vallecitos (Little Valley) at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. There are 2 ponds as well as River frontage at the entrance to the property. This small cabin is a beautiful quite retreat. Please note that the roads can be rough particularly in inclement weather conditions. We try to maintain them but the weather is at time challenging. I travel these roads regularly in my Subaru which has 8 1/2" of clearance and don't have trouble except in snow. Guest access This is a working ranch, you are welcome to hike around as there are many hiking opportunities. We have grass fed beef and Lamb for sale as well as seasonal produce. We are available to answer questions you may have. We are also only a couple of miles from the Santa Fe National Forest where you can easily access trails into the Pecos Wilderness. Other things to note This cabin is very close to the livestock and pets must be kept on a leash when around the sheep, cattle or poultry
