Spacious Double Room &WC in big old central house
Description
Spacious room in big old traditional portuguese house, with a balcony towards the historic city walls. It's in the city centre so everything is nearby and walking distance: 5 minutes from the main squares, 10 minutes from beautiful beaches, and even though it's very close to the popular nightlife it is still away from all the disturbing noise if you want to relax. This room has a very small but private WC and shower. The space The house is very old and is still being renovated. Therefore keep in mind that it is different than the typical touristic accommodation easily found in Algarve. In this house lived and worked the influential Portuguese sculptor João Cutileiro and many of his works are still here. During the last 50 years many other artists passed here working or just socializing, many artworks decorate the house around. The plan is to keep the good artistic and alternative ambience of the house and give it life again. Perfect place if you want to know more about Portuguese and Lagos culture. This is a shared house. On the upper floor there are a total of 4 rooms available - you can see on my Airbnb profile. And I live on the lower floor with my partner and our cat. Guest access - The kitchen, shared among all 4 rooms, is conveniently accessible. - The shared balcony is a great place to relax, enjoy a drink and good food. Other things to note VERY important: - No drinking is allowed except if it is done responsibly. - No extra people allowed in the house. - Respecting other guests and respecting quiet hours is highly important to keep a good atmosphere around the house. - Do not expect a hotel here, nor a modern-comfort hotel-like service. I'm not charging a cleaning fee, so I expect everyone to respect the house and the other guests and clean after themselves. Registration Details 52284/AL
