A gem between Rialto and San Marco

The apartment 'Il Leone e la Rosa' is located right in the heart of Cannaregio, the most ancient district in Venice, close to San Marco Square, Rialto Bridge and Market and well connected to airport and to the lagoon with the islands of Murano and Burano. A comfortable and modern space decorated with taste with a Venice-themed library, this spacious flat overlooks two ancient courtyards. Since 2016 families, couples and groups of friends have stayed with us and experienced Venice like locals. The space The apartment has been recently refurbished with elegant finishings and modern decor, a mix of unique vintage pieces and Italian design. Located on the raised ground floor of a historical building, it's easy accessible from Calle Della Testa. The flat has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, independent heating, TV, washing machine & tumble dryer. The master bedroom overlooks the courtyards and has a large storage space, the two-bed bedroom is particularly suitable for kids or friends traveling in pairs. The flat has a cot for babies and young children. Linen and bedsheets are of course provided! The bathroom is spacious and easy accessible with a large shower, Made-in-Italy organic toiletries are at our guests' disposal. The kitchen area is provided with 5 gas stoves, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. A coffee machine and an Italian-style moka are at our guests' disposal, and a kettle: the flat comes with free supply of teas and coffee. Guests are encouraged to experiment in the kitchen or to take-away food in the comfort of this beautiful flat: pots, dishes, cutlery and crockery, glasses are at disposal. Guest access Hosts have access to the entire apartment. We love our Venetian home and restored it and decorated it with care, we are happy to share it with guests coming from all over the world. We ask everyone to respect this space and look after it the same way as they would look after their own. Other things to note TOURIST CITY TAX: For bookings made after January 2 2020 we'll charge tourist city tax separately for the sake of transparency. In high season (1.2 -31-12) city tourist tax amounts to 4 € per night per person and 2 € for young people aged 10-16. Tourist city tax does not apply to children under 10, disabled and after the 5th overnight stay. We'll ask you to leave the equivalent of your tourist tax fee cash, for which we'll produce an e- receipt, in a separate box in the flat or, alternatively, to pay it to our concierge, elena.
