Garden flat, historic listed barn, The Boskins

Ellergill House Barn is a Grade II Listed building in a scenic, rural location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The barn has spectacular views all around. It dates from the early 19th century and was lovingly restored in 2019. The Boskins provides luxury 2 bedroom accommodation. Both bedrooms can be used as doubles or twins making the Boskins the perfect setting for families or groups of friends. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area leads out to a south facing terrace and garden. The space The barn retains a number of historical features, including beams with Baltic timber markings throughout and a large wooden vent in the stairwell of the building, originally installed to provide ventilation for the resident cows. The recent renovation of the Boskins has resulted in modern, comfortable and spacious accommodation. The flat is a little under 1000 square feet and natural light permeates the living areas from a number of pre-existing doorways located on this floor. The flat overlooks Skipton Golf Course- a number of holes can be seen from the garden, allowing non-golf playing guests to watch from their own ‘19th hole’ on the terrace. Guest access Guests will have sole access to the entire Boskins flat including a private terrace and lawned area overlooking the neighbouring Skipton golf course. There is also an adjoining woodland area, which guests are free to walk on a path through. The Boskins has a separate parking area from the parking for the neighbouring owners’ house for 2 cars. Parking for additional vehicles should be requested in advance. If additional space is required, two further bedrooms, an additional bathroom and extra living space can be booked on the ground floor of the barn. The photos for this are shown under Events Room.
