Millstone Cottage - Cosy Peak District Cottage

This semi detached cosy cottage in the quiet village of Taddington, is perfect for small families who would like to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Peak District National Park . Located mid way between Buxton and Bakewell, this cottage makes a perfect base for which to explore the two towns and surrounding areas. There are many excellent picturesque places to visit, from the doorstep, nearby Monsal Dale and the famous trail, Millers Dale and Chee Dale only a short walk away. The space Step into the open plan kitchen diner and you will see this stone built cottage has retained its original charm with all the modern facilities needed for day to day life. the kitchen area has an electric double oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, the step down pantry has a washing machine and freezer. Relax in the lounge area on one of the comfy sofas, light the wood burner-curl up in front of the tv and watch one of the many dvds provided or use the now tv facility installed or read one of the books provided. Head up the light open staircase to one of the two comfortable double bedrooms and large modern bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed which has an organic mattress with pillow topper for added comfort. Bedroom two is a larger room and optional comfortable bed settee if required. All bedding is 100% cotton with anti allergy pillows and covers. ( if the sofa bed is required there is an extra charge of £25 for making up of bed with extra bedding. or you can bring your own bedding and use the sofa bed at no extra charge. king size duvet and pillows are provided.) Get ready for the day ahead in the roomy bathroom with large shower, cast iron bath and WC with vinyl tiling floor. Outside to the rear is a split level courtyard and lawn area, with barn and parking for 2 cars. This is an ideal place to relax, there is a table and 4 chairs in front of the barn which is perfect for dining alfresco in the summer sun. There is also parking at the front of the property subject to availability. Guest access Guests have full use of the private rear garden and parking for two cars. There Is a small garden to the front of the property for which the use of a small table and two chairs is provided. Other things to note If the sofa bed is required you can use at no extra charge if you bring your own bedding ( king size duvet and pillows are provided ) or if you wish me to make up the sofa bed with extra bedding there is an extra charge of £25. PLEASE NOTE. RURAL LOCATION. Taddington has no village shop so the nearest supermarket is approx 5 miles away in either Buxton or Bakewell. It is important guests realise the location of the cottage is a rural one.
