La Vieille Grange – Peaceful Bed and Breakfast

Our house lies in the middle of the Normandy countryside. The old house and barn were both renovated by Brian, carpenter and joiner, and Sue, who welcome their guests to share the peace and calm of their home and enjoy perhaps a visit to war memorials, beaches, restaurants or just relax before travelling further down south. We are about 45-60 minutes from the Mont St Michel. The space We have 2 private bedrooms each with en suite shower room. Our family room has a double bed and two bunks which are full single bed size. We provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Continental breakfast, included in the price per person, can be served outside in our pretty sunken garden at the front of the house, weather permitting! Guests are welcome to use the garden areas at the front of our house. However the garden at the back is private and not accessible to guests. Guest access Guests have their own private bedroom and en suite shower/toilet. Continental breakfast (included in the price) is served in the dining area of our very large 'L' shaped kitchen. It was a barn which housed a tractor and a large cider press! There is a garden at the front of the house in which guests can relax before going out to dinner in our nearby towns of St Hilaire du Harcouet or Mortain. The garden at the back of our house is private and not available for guests. Other things to note There are some lovely restaurants in our nearest town of St Hilaire du Harcouet. Our house is situated a little too far out in the country for cyclists to visit restaurants in either Mortain or St. Hilaire du Harcouet.
