A sustainable sunny single room studio, set in the garden and away from the main house. Includes comfortable queen-size bed, TV, kitchenette and bathroom. Wi-Fi included. A two minute walk to the train station (30 mins to CBD). Please note: No check ins after 8pm. The space The studio is set away from the main house, nestled in the tree-filled yard. Facilities include a kitchenette (with microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle) and bathroom (toilet and shower). The toilet is run off tank water and the air conditioning and hot water is timed to run during the day when the solar power will hopefully be offsetting its electricity use. The use of a fan/electric blanket during the night is a much lower-power solution to keeping comfortable at night when the air conditioning is not available. Guest access Please note that access to the studio is a little steep and not recommended for low-mobility travellers. For those travelling by car, there is one car space (small car only) available off the street, and there is plenty of free street parking. Guests are free to enjoy the backyard.
