Vintage Gardens Hobby Farm grows heritage apples, vegetables, and a variety of berries and is located near the base of Monroe Mountain, just off the I-70, near the hot springs. Our charming barn loft is completely separated from the main house and has spectacular views of the entire farm. It’s a perfect place for a vacation, remote work, or a sporting event. The property is also available for weddings and special events. Please message the owner for additional event information. The space Guests may lounge on a private deck overlooking the orchard with views of the surrounding mountains. Or one may choose to relax in the hammock beneath a grape and wisteria-covered pergola. We also have a hot tub on our property that guests may use. ATV & biking trails, or paragliding, and a natural hot spring are close by. A full-size fridge, double oven/cooktop and antique sink adorn the corner kitchen and dining table area. Newly installed air conditioner,, cable/WiFi, local grocery store, and RX are just around the corner. Additionally, guests are greeted with pressed apple juice and homemade banana-nut muffins. Longer stays are welcome and there is an en-suite washer and dryer. Apple picking is available in the fall, as well as samples of our hand-pressed apple juice after the first frost. Guests can join in the fun. Fresh raspberries, boysenberries, and blackberries are also available for picking in season. Guests may harvest from the summer garden fresh ears of corn, or tomatoes, swiss chard, peas, beans and squash. We also offer stargazing tours through an 8” Celestron telescope. Horseback riding available by advanced request from local ranch. ATV rental delivered to property per guest request. Contact host for details. Guest access Entire upper floor of barn and a private deck. Requires walking up 18 stairs to reach the loft. Other things to note The loft is located upstairs in our barn/carriage house. Since we converted the barn into this beautiful upstairs living place, we still store our cars and tools on the first floor, below the loft. Most machinery is stored outside. Occasionally throughout the day myself or my husband will enter the main floor area to access needed tools. Since we are retired, most days start at 9am and finish at 7:30pm.
