Vintage Gardens Hobby Farm grows heritage apples, fresh vegetables, tomatoes, a variety of berries and is located near the base of Monroe Mountain, just off the I 70. Our charming Barn Loft is completely separated from the main house and has spectacular all-around views of the entire farm. It’s a perfect place for a vacation get away, remote “work from home,” or a sporting event. The space Guests may lounge on a private deck overlooking the orchard with views of the surrounding mountains. Or one may choose to relax in the hammock beneath a grape and wisteria covered pergola. We also have a Hot Tub on our property that guests may use. ATV & biking trails, or paragliding, and a natural hot spring are close by. A full size fridge, double oven/cooktop and antique sink adorn the corner kitchen and dining table area. Cable/WiFi, a grocery store and RX are just around the corner. Additionally guests are greeted with farm fresh eggs, pressed apple juice and homemade banana-nut muffins. Longer stays are welcome and have an en-suite washer and dryer. Apple picking is available in the fall, as well as samples of our hand-pressed apple juice after the first frost. Guests can join in the fun. Fresh raspberries, boysenberries, and blackberries are also available in season. Pick from the summer garden a couple ears of corn, or tomatoes, swiss chard, peas, beans and squash. We also offer stargazing tours through an 8” Celestron telescope. Horseback riding available by advanced request from local ranch. Contact host for details. Guest access Entire upper floor of barn and private deck. Other things to note The loft is located upstairs in our barn/carriage house. Since we converted the barn into this beautiful upstairs living place, we still store our cars and tools on the first floor, below the loft. Most machinery is stored outside. Occasionally throughout the day myself or my husband will enter the main floor area to access needed tools. Since we are retired most days start at 9am and finish at 7:30pm. We invite interested guests to ask questions and join in the adventure!
