Surfer’s Watch is a spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, 1-study house with a large veranda with breathtaking views of St Francis Bay, including Bruce’s Beauties. It's a short walk from Granny’s Pool and the Community Gardens along the scenic Two Harbours’ Walk. There’s plenty to explore in the area, with many attractions within walking or cycling distance. The house's water supply is treated borehole water, safe to drink. There is solar power and battery back-up. The space For those up for a day trip, highlights include Baviaanskloof, Kouga Dam, Storm’s River, Bloukrans, Nature’s Valley, and more. The house is equipped with borehole water, solar panels, an inverter, and robust security features. If you’re planning to bring pets, kindly contact the owners before booking. Please note: due to stairs and veranda balustrades, the house is not suitable for crawlers, toddlers, or young children. The Space The ground floor features a completely open-plan living area with doors that open onto the lawn. At its heart is a fully equipped kitchen with an eight-seater dining table. When facing the sea, on the left is a lounge, and to the right, a lounge/TV room fitted with an air conditioner and a slow-burning wood stove. This level also includes an en-suite bedroom, guest WC and a small study. Upstairs are three bedrooms: the main en-suite (air-conditioned) and the two other rooms share a large bathroom. A wide balcony stretches across the front of these bedrooms, offering stunning sea views. Outside, you’ll find several relaxing and entertaining spaces: • A picnic table under milkwood trees, the perfect retreat on a hot day. • A bench overlooking the sea, ideal for reading. • An enclosed courtyard with another picnic table, additional seating, and a Weber for outdoor dining. Amenities • WiFi and DSTV included. • A cupboard stocked with games and puzzles, along with several full bookcases. • Bicycles available upon request. • The borehole is treated and is safe to drink. Parking Outdoor parking is available on the property. Should you require garage access, please contact the owners. Guests have access to the entire house, garden, and courtyard. Additional Notes • This house is a rental and is not serviced. Should guests require a housekeeper/cleaning service; arrangements can be made. This would be for the guests' expense. • For any specific requests, such as garage use or pet stays (the garden is walled in although it is not suitable for animals that like to jump over walls as approximately 1m at its lowest point), please contact the owners in advance. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house, excluding the garage. Other things to note The minimum booking over the Festive Season (1 December to 14 January) is eighteen (18) nights. This house is a rental and is not serviced. Should the guests require a housekeeper/cleaning service arrangements can be made. There would be for the guests' expense. The minimum booking for the rest of the year is ten (10) nights.
