Penny's Cottage

Penny’s was converted from an old cow byre. It is a cosy cottage for four people and sits along side a large lawn with far reaching countryside views. Located just 1 mile from the village of Pelynt which has two shops and a pub. The space Small, but perfectly formed, Penny’s cottage may be our smallest two-bedroom cottage, but it is full of charm and character which come from its original Cornish stonework, exposed beams and original features. Converted from an old cow byre around 40 years ago, it is thought to have been named after a favourite horse, which once pulled the plough on the farm. The sitting/dining room has a cottage-style suite and a 32-inch flat screen TV. There is a separate, well-equipped kitchen with a built-in oven with a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, an extractor fan, and a plinth heater. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over, underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, a shaver point, and a fan heater. The first-floor double bedroom has far-reaching countryside views, and often sheep can be seen grazing just over the fence. The twin room has views over the garden. All beds have quality pocket-sprung mattresses and bed linen. Situated next to a very large lawn, it is a true favourite with families who wish to savour the freedom the Cornish countryside can offer. There is an outside seating area, perfect for al fresco dining and stargazing on a dark Cornish night. The roof is fitted with solar panels, helping to provide green energy to the cottage. We are happy to accept up to two well-behaved dogs, over 1 year of age, by arrangement. Please note this cottage is not suitable for large breeds of dog. There is parking for one car outside of the cottage and additional parking in the car park. Guest access You will have access to the whole of Penny's Cottage and the grounds along with a field walk and play area.
