The space This 3-story converted barn is set in Hailey, the bedroom community of gorgeous Sun Valley, Idaho (ski resort is 11 miles North). In the summer, hiking is just out the back door. The bike path is right down the road. In the winter, indoor/outdoor ice skating is minutes away in the brand new ice rinks in Hailey, and world renowned skiing is 20 minutes up the Valley. With four bedrooms and their magical views, 3 full bathrooms and 2 half-bathrooms, the interiors of this home are designed and decorated beautifully, with quality & comfort in mind. Radiant in-floor heating throughout. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers/2 sinks. There are 2 gas-lit, wood-burning fireplaces; in Master Bedroom and Living Room area. Laundry Room equipped with 2 washers & dryers. Cable, Internet and plenty of parking. Additionally, there is a baby grand piano and an upright piano on the premises. Gorgeous views of the Wood River Valley, summer and/or winter. This home is a real oasis yet so convenient...5 mins. to middle of town, airport, groceries. There is also the option of renting the fully separate Guest Quarters with it's own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living quarters that is able to accommodate four additional family members or friends. Guest access Most of the house is accessible to our visiting guests. There are a few rooms kept private for the owners and their family, evident by their locked doors. Other things to note In the winter there is plowing routinely done. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended to get up and down our drive when there is deep snow. Please note that this home has a winding staircase to the 3rd floor Master Bedroom so it may not be suitable for some people with physical challenges. This house is not ADA compliant. Also because of the bannisters and open atrium it is not ideal for toddlers 1-3 years of age.
