Within minutes, you can walk to all of Anchorage's downtown attractions including restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, bars, Anchorage Train Depot, and the popular Coastal Trail. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals and relax after a long day of adventuring. Perfect, relaxing home-base while in Anchorage. The space The space is a daylight basement apartment with a short flight of stairs down to the entrance. The living room area has many windows and is filled with natural light. There are two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and two bathrooms, perfect for two couples or a family of 4 or 5. The sofa can be converted to a bed if necessary. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a laundry room adjacent to bedroom #2, with a storage area that can be used for gear. The bungalow was built in 1917 by Leopold David, Anchorage's first mayor. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in an historic neighborhood with surrounding views of the Port of Alaska, Cook Inlet, the Alaska Railroad and Downtown Anchorage. Guest access To access the Bungalow, you will use a unique door code that will be provided to you ahead of your stay. From the bungalow you can conveniently access all of Downtown including the popular Coastal Trail, Ship Creek Trail, Ship Creek fishing areas, the Anchorage Museum, shops, galleries, and a variety of restaurants and bars. There is one parking space dedicated for use as well as both paid and free on street parking. There is a grocery store about one mile away.
