Master Suite/Own Entrance 20 min to downtown/lakes

Your room is completely private with a king bed, private bathroom and your own entrance. We have a ranch style house on 3 acres that is home to many deer, birds and wildlife. Our neighborhood is quiet with a country feel. We are between Austin and Lakeway (a few miles from Bee Cave) so you can enjoy downtown Austin, just 20 minutes away, as well as life on the lake. Perfect for visiting downtown but also getting away and enjoying the Texas hill country and lakes. There is no TV. The space This is a large room with a king size bed, dresser, desk area, and your own entrance out to our backyard. You have a coffee pot, microwave and small fridge in the room as well as your own thermostat to set the temperature as you wish. There is a curtain dividing the toilet and shower from the sink and bedroom. There is no TV. While you’re here, you can enjoy the deck and wildlife. Along with many deer, we have humming bird feeders and many birds. The owls are back in the owl houses! When you’re ready to go out, head into Austin for great food and entertainment. Downtown Austin is a straight 20 minute drive. There are many great restaurants nearby as well. If you want to head to the lake, Lake Austin is a short drive from here (or even a walk!) and Lake Travis is just a bit further. Guest access Accessing your room requires 3 stairs and walking across our deck. From the deck you must take a large step down onto the grass. In a few feet there are 3 steps up without a rail to your door. We live in the rest of the house which is separate from your master. You may enjoy the deck and backyard or wander around our 3 acres. During your stay We love this area and have lived in this house for 30 years. If you want to chat about your stay or have questions, we are always available by text or phone, if not in person. We generally will meet you on your way in or out, at least once, if schedules allow. Other things to note Our home is 40 years old so the bathroom could use some upgrades. Also be aware we have an old septic, but everything is very clean and the bed is comfortable. We have recently sprayed an organic chemical for outside bugs but this is Texas and we live near nature. Hopefully none will crawl into your room but I can't 100% guarantee this. There is no TV.
