The Milk House Cottage is a great venue to just unwind. A favorite venue for a friend's getaway or special occasion. The space The cottage sits in the Village of Chesterhill and in the heart of an "old world" Amish community. You stroll through the garden along a stone path to "your" private cottage patio setting. The entrance is your first impression of the creative architecture of small cottage living while affording our guests with plenty of space, cozy comfort and décor for their stay. The Milk House Cottage has been totally redesigned into a beautifully modern space equipped with a quiet Mitsubishi mini-split heating & AC with i-wave pure clean air technology, village filtered water and, a non-cooking kitchenette area in the interior porch sitting area. The bedroom includes a well-lit cathedral clear story with ceiling fans with two XL twin beds. The entire space is designed to be a super clean quiet and relaxing environment. The modern full bathroom includes a heated floor and unlimited hot water. Along with the cottage, we encourage our guests to enjoy other aspects of the property, gardens, grass trails and, scenic deck and fire pit area. Guest write: A relaxing magical oasis. Guest access In addition to having full privacy in the cottage and adjacent patio, we have beautiful common area's including an open deck looking into the scenic valley, a portion of the property to take a stroll. Garden chairs are located under a shade tree. Nap anyone? Other things to note "Due to high fuel costs" During June 2026 reservations, we will reimburse the cleaning charges with a $25.00 gift card upon arrival. Our local farm to table restaurant, Triple Nickel Diner is open on Wednesday- Sunday (summer hours). Ron's restaurant, deli, and grocery store has great pizza's and sandwiches, open Monday-Saturday.
