SISTERS’ SANCTUARY: A PWD Friendly Homey Refuge

Tagaytay is now open for staycations. Below are the updated rules of Tagaytay Prime Residences: -Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed. Bring your vaccination card. -The number of visitors per unit must not be more than 50% of the predetermined room capacity so we accept a max of SIX (6) guests in our 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom unit -The swimming pool is now open. -Parking is at the back. -The lobby guard will take your temp and will ask you to fill up a form The space Our modestly decorated sanctuary is outfitted with wood furnishings and antique single chairs handed down by our grandparents and parents to give our guests that lived-in feel. Sisters’ Sanctuary consists of 2 separate rooms and an open concept kitchen-dining-living area. The kitchen is stocked with cutleries and basic tools for prepping and cooking home-style comfort food. A two-burner electric stove, rice cooker and microwave are available for use. A refrigerator is switched on 24 hours a day for those who like to store food and beverages. An electric pot or a coffee brewer is available for the guests who need their morning cup of Joe: Batangas brew as the locals call it. The dining room’s eclectic mix of chairs seats 4-6 persons comfortably. Glass plates, bowls, drinking ware and other cutleries are available for guests use. We have NO WIFI service nor Cable. This is a deliberate choice intended for families and friends to have human moments. There is an area in the living room where a trundle bed and a rocker can be found. There is also a daybed that can fit 1 person. Two additional mattresses are on hand. An inflatable Winnie the Pooh kid’s bed is also free for use. The first of 2 bathrooms in the unit is found in the living room. The shower and lavatory have separate doors. The other bathroom is located in the bedroom near the dining area. Both showers have hot/cold settings. All bedrooms are not floor to ceiling doors. There is a simple sliding divider between the bedrooms and the shared space area. The first bedroom with a bathroom sleeps 2. It has a full size bed measuring 54 in x 75 in. The second bedroom also sleeps 2 with the same bed configuration as the first bedroom. Bedding and linen is also provided. All bedrooms are outfitted with air conditioning units, an electric fan, side tables and a bedside lamp, clothes hanger with 5 hangers per room. Both bedrooms have a balcony where you can see the striking beauty of Taal Lake. Our parents are PWDs or “person with disability” that is why we dressed our place simply so the wheelchairs can move around the unit. There is ample space in the room with the full size bed to allow a caregiver to put a mattress on the floor in order to accompany the person with disability. Guest access Just minutes from the Tagaytay rotunda and 1 hour and 56 minutes drive from Manila, the Sisters’ Sanctuary provides a fully furnished 71.94 sqm. A simple getaway for a family or a group of 4-6 friends and within walking distance to mall & restaurants A guard will direct you to the assigned parking space and a parking attendant or another guard will issue you a ticket for parking. Please pay the attendant or guard as soon as you park per Management of Cityland. The charge is Php50.00 per day per parking slot. The pool is now open. Other things to note Bldg Administration requires a Barangay Health Certificate and travel pass for Seniors above 65 years old and children below 12 yrs of age. This has to be submitted one week prior to check-in. Failure to submit will be grounds for check-in cancellation. A list with the full names and ages of all guests need to be submitted a week before check in. Alcohol Drinking is not allowed.
